HIKING

Step off the gondola at 2000 m above sea-level and revel in stunning panoramic views... stretching as far as the Ortles range and the Dolomites, our very own UNESCO World Heritage Site. A number of hiking trails with breath-taking vistas run from Falzeben and Pivigna all the way to the remote, solitary San Pancrazio lake. Other stunning summits include Kuhleiten (2363 m), Kesselberg (2300 m), Mittager (2422 m) and Passo della Croce are some of the most popular destinations on the plateau. Mountain bike

The wide paths welcome hikers, mountain bikers and e-bikers and lead them... on a journey of discovery through the high plateau. Via ferrata

The Picco Ivigna, the local mountain of the municipalities of Merano, Avelengo... and Scena is a mighty granite mountain and reaches a height of 2,581 metres. It can be reached via several paths. The most exciting, however, remains the via ferrata Heini Holzer. The 500 m long climb is perfectly secured with 1.000 m of steel cable and it is rated at medium difficulty (A – B – in some places B/C). Due to the nature of the new via ferrata, the climb can be a bit of an adventure for less experienced mountaineers as well as mountaineering families with children who like walking and climbing. Running, climbing, balancing, jumping, exploring, discovering.... The large children's playground at the top station offers space and lots of fun for the whole family. The Outdoor Kids Camp is a fun place for children to playfully work on becoming faster and sure-footed while improving their balance, agility and overall flexibility. The new wooden marble run involves the kids in an exciting race along the ball track.

Alpin Bob

The sweeping track guarantees children and adults an unforgettable, rapid experience!... The sweeping track starts at the mountain station of the Gondola Falzeben. In a few minutes, the entire family can speed downhill with the Alpin Bob. In parts the bobsled hovers up to 12 meters above the ground – adrenaline rush guaranteed for young and old alike! After the pacy run, the daring bob-sledders will be transported automatically back to the starting point.
