FLYING HIGH AT SUNRISE
A paragliding flight into the sunrise might just be the absolute highlight of your trip to South Tyrol – at least for early birds who are not afraid to get up in the wee small hours and embark on a spectacular adventure to see how South Tyrol's nature and mountain world awaken.
You'll be picked up and driven to the Kuhleiten mountain hut at 2400 m above sea-level, with departure times varying according to the time of year. We start off with a hearty, wholesome and delicious breakfast lovingly prepared by Ulli and Christine of the Kuhleiten team. From the panoramic terrace of the inn, we watch in awe as the sun begins to rise and the breath-taking marvel of nature slowly unravels.
At dawn is when the real adventure starts: We strap on our gear and take off in our paraglider, soaring high up above the world before gently returning the valley after some 30 to 40 minutes.
