OPENING WINTER 2027/28

The future of Merano 2000 is taking shape, with construction of the new Kesselberg cable car officially getting underway on 24 August 2026.

The new cableway will play a central role year-round: in winter, it will improve connectivity within the ski area; in summer, it will provide hikers and mountain visitors with convenient access to the mountain.
This will make the Kesselberg a key component of the future mountain experience at Merano 2000: more modern and more comfortable.

During the construction phase, the path will also be used by construction vehicles at times. We kindly ask for your understanding and are pleased to be taking another important step towards the future of Merano 2000. The new Kesselberg cable car will be an important part of the continued development of Merano 2000, making the area even more modern and comfortable for our guests.
