Landscape management and erosion control

Working together to preserve the unique landscape of Merano 2000!
During a joint site inspection involving representatives of the Municipality of Hafling, the Office for Torrent and Avalanche Control, the Forestry Inspectorates of Merano, Bolzano and Sarntal, the local Alpine pasture association and staff from Meran 2000 Cableways Ltd., measures to combat erosion, stabilise the soil and ensure sustainable landscape management were discussed and coordinated.
The focus is on preventing natural hazards and safeguarding the area for the long term.
