Hike to the
Lake S. Pancrazio

Lake S. Pancrazio is the ideal destination for nature lovers and anyone seeking peace and quiet. The sun-kissed location of this small mountain lake boasts wonderful panoramic views of the neighbouring Sarentino valley.
From the ropeway mountain station, the hiking route runs along trail no. 3 to the Missenstein mountain pass at 2.128 m above sea-level and on along trail no. 3A. After one last and brief uphill stretch, continue on the E5 European long distance path until you reach the lake.
Once reached the lake, hikers can take a well-deserved break and enjoy a picnic they have brought along, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains.

Return along the same route all the way to the mountain station of Merano 2000.

Alternatively, if you started your hike at Falzeben rather than at the ropeway mountain station, you can return via the Rifugio Meraner inn and Passo della Croce, then descend to the Malga Moschwald inn and Falzeben.


! OUR TIP: If you want to shorten the way, take the cable car Naifjoch to the mid station VISTA or to the Waidmannalm and start your hike from here.
