Uphill to the
Kuhleiten alpine hut

This short but demanding tour starts at the mountain station of Merano 2000, on trail no. 3 and runs along trail no. 18A until just above the Waidmann mountain hut. From there, it's all uphill to the Kuhleiten alpine hut following trail no. 19A – you'll need to be in good shape.

Once you've reached the inn at the foot of the majestic Mount Ivigna, you'll be rewarded with stunning 360° panoramic views as far as the Zillertal and Ötztal Alps, the Ortles and Gruppo Tessa ranges and all the way into the magnificent Dolomites.
