Bus line number 227 “Maia Bassa – Trauttmansdorff/Ropeway Merano 2000” will again be available during the 2025 summer season to provide good connections between Merano 2000, Trauttmansdorff, the Maia Alta district, the Maia Bassa train station, and the Maia Bassa cemetery.
The timetable is coordinated with train arrivals and departures at Maia Bassa railway station and with other bus lines along Via Roma to and from Bolzano.
This service is organised and funded by Merano 2000 Funivie Spa and the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, and will operate throughout the summer season.

Line 227 “Maia Bassa – Merano 2000” runs through Maia Alta, Via Piave/Tennis Merano, as far as the Maia Bassa railway station, then continues along Via Roma past the Maia Bassa Cemetery and The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, ending at the Merano 2000 Naif valley station.
