Do I need insurance as a skier, snowboarder, tobogganer?

Yes, from 1.1.2022, according to Italian Legislative Decree No. 40 dated 28.2.2021, every skier, snowboarder, tobogganer or back-country skier is required to hold personal or family liability insurance, which, among other things, covers damage or injury to third parties. Time-slot-based tickets: Does my time slot start as soon as I have paid?

If you're buying a ticket that is valid for a limited slot of four hours, the clock will only start ticking when you first activate your ticket at one of the lifts.

My time-slot ticket has expired. Now what?

As soon as the time is expired, it is impossible to use the lifts. For organisational reasons and to avoid overcrowding on the lifts, until further notice a discretionary 60 minutes will be added to all time-slot tickets for the descent by ropeway. For example, this means that a four-hour ski pass is valid for four hours' worth of skiing from the time it is first used at the valley station ticket machines. After those four hours, you have an additional hour to catch the ropeway down to the valley station.
Please note that once this additional hour has passed, you will have to buy a one-way ticket to ride the ropeway to the valley station.

Does tickets require a deposit?

All ski and toboggan tickets as well as all season tickets require a deposit. The only exception: single tickets and return trips by ropeway.
