To the Mittager Hut

The Panorama Route with outlook on the Dolomites is an easy yet spectacular circular route leading from the mountain station of Merano 2000 to the Mittager hut.

The itinerary leads from Pivigna along trail no. 18A past the Waidmann hut and the Kirchsteiger hut to the base station of the ‘Mittager’ chairlift.
After a comfortable ride to the Mittager hut at the chairlift’s mountain station, you will be able to admire a unique panoramic view of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites, the Ortles area as well as the Tessa Group.

There are different options for the way back. One route leads from the Mittager hut to the Meraner hut until Pivigna, or past the Parete Rossa hut and the Zuegg hut all the way back to Falzeben.
The other possibility is to first hike from the mountain station of the ‘Mittager’ chairlift to the Kesselberg hut and from there on the trails no. 13 and no. 3 until the mountain stations of the Ropeway and the Gondola at Pivigna.
